Who we are
Chase The Hits is a UK Pokémon trading-card retailer, owner-operated. This policy covers chasethehits.com and the tools we run behind it. Questions and removal requests: james@chasethehits.com.
Forms on this website
The website has two kinds of optional form.
- Drop list / stock alerts: we store the email address you enter so we can send a short message when new stock or a launch goes live. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.
- Contact, selling and trade enquiries: we store what you type (name, company, email, phone if given, message) and email it to the owner so we can reply. It is used only to answer you.
Neither is shared with, sold to or rented to anyone else.
Orders
When you buy, we hold your name, delivery address and order details to fulfil and support the order, and keep them as long as UK tax law requires. Payment is taken by our payment provider (PayPal or a card processor) under their own privacy policy; we never see your card details.
Cookies and analytics
The website sets no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. It loads web fonts from Google Fonts and, on the shop pages, card artwork from public card-image services; those providers see a standard image request from your browser and nothing more.
Listing tools
Behind the scenes, the owner connects their own marketplace and storefront accounts to a private listing tool. That tool creates draft listings from photographs of the owner's own cards and reads those accounts' business policies so drafts are valid. It stores access tokens for those accounts, photographs of the owner's cards and public market price data. It does not collect buyer names, addresses, contact or payment details, or any data about other users of those platforms. Card photographs are read by Anthropic's API to identify the card. Revoking the application's access in the account settings permanently ends the tool's access.
Retention
Enquiries and drop-list addresses are kept while they are useful and deleted on request. Order records are kept as long as UK tax and consumer law require.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email james@chasethehits.com and we will sort it within a few days.
